Twitter kick-starts my day.

After my early morning meditation, if I am not on silent mode; and after paying my dues at the pot, I usually go to twitter for a trot. Suddenly, the world opens up, like a pinch in the butt. Usually, it is someone somewhere letting out his or her crap. As a counter point, a few gentle souls whisper sweet “nothings”, hoping to catch somebody’s ear “out there”. It’s a “mixed-up” crowd here, on twitter. Luckily, as I have come to know, over time, the do-gooders out-twit the “crap” shooters.

It’s akin to watching ticket-less, the world “pass” us by, without necessarily saying hi. Once in a while, if one is lucky and feeling cocky, one is able to trap a gadfly. That is, one is able to counter punch a below-the-belt hooker. Though tit for tat following un-following is common, there are many a quid pro quo friendly encounters too. Some touchy, over-the-top gung-ho evangelicalism inevitably crops up now and then, but many a sane voice too has its say on twitter.

Considering my foot to mouth luck these days, after a little over 1100 days in “active service”, I yet have some 11, 000 friends on Twitter. Whether they “follow” me with any good intention or attention, is any fool’s wild guess. Since I value my sanity, I just count my blessing than my woes. But my sense of humour keeps me on my toes.

However, humour, especially about religion and god, my beta noire, is missing in large parts on Twitter. Poking fun with unfunny intentions is not humour, by the way. Few pretentious twits are purchasing followers too; some in hundreds of thousands. Many glum faces, too busy selling their wares to run with the hare, are also here. They obviously do not really care about befriending the “lesser” lot. Too many self-proclaimed gurus also tout their twitch on twitter.

Yet, overall, here, good guys are able to crinkle their noses at the wise guys. Perhaps this is what one enjoys. Anything extra or by the way by-product, could be “manna” from God.

Being a spiritual person, I hope it is.

Here’s wishing all a happy tweeting, my friends, in 2013. May we all be a little more caring, compassionate and little less country-specific in the coming year. For, amongst its many blessings, social media platforms, especially Twitter, have made us all a citizen of the world. Enough said.

What Happens To The Soul After Death?

Self-experience of free mystics differs much from "western" belief systems. Indian yogis, based on “physical” observations of own “self”, behold All as An Endless State of Being.

Following Rules of Yoga, especially no usage of drugs or non-vegetarian food, a snake like “being-ness” rises; separating from physical being of meditating yogi.

Thence, “single eye” of this “is-ness” delves deeper unto Self of Existence, “virtually” passing through “own-ness” of What Is; including esoteric “godly” visions beyond imagination of gods of science and isms.

Suddenly, this is-ness of single-eyed point of reference, ceases to be. In an esoteric instant, it finds its Self to be All-ness of The Whole. Wherever this “ i “ looks, it “sees” All as Own Self.

This is The End-Game of Self-Realization.

Thereafter, this “I AM” of ALLNESS comes “back” to Awareness of “this” realm. The “re-turned” Consciousness observes ownself as “Shakti” (Energy); entering as “breath of life” unto bodily-self of, now, Buddha-Yogi.

Hence, before or after death, “self”-soul, being of everything, stays unchanged, as Primordial Self of All That Is. Therefore, in Ultimate Reality, we are “clinically” seen as an illusory form “here”; but Eternal Oneness “There”.

We live nor die. Our illusory-self does.

Soul nor soul-less; beyond big-bangs, is and am, gods-devils, messiahs-religions-isms, science-spirituality or “is-ness” of any mortality, we are, in essence - Immortality.

Is there a heaven up “There”?

Recently, a neuro surgeon said he "saw" it.

 

Most cultures and religions of all creeds and regions believe in it in some form or the other. Depending upon one’s inherited belief system, cultural influences and acquired knowledge from elsewhere, consciously or unconsciously, people get imbued with a particular, peculiar idea about such matters. It’s not necessarily true.

 

Dreams seem frighteningly or fascinatingly real till we are asleep. Awakened, memory of this phenomenon may linger for a while, sometimes a lifetime. Yet, it remains in the realm of illusion. Gone like a whiff of air; here, there, then, nowhere.

 

Near death experiences usually “happen” in a comma, or, an un-awakened, unconscious state of existence wherein one is no longer in control of one’s senses. One is neither “here” nor “there”. This coma-somatic near-death experience is just a “take-off” on one’s religious or intellectual belief system. The reality in this semi or unconscious bodily condition can at best be accepted as dream-like panorama, albeit a vivid one. Therefore, it’s nothing more than what it is: One Big Illusion.

 

This does not mean anyone describing such stupendous visions is lying. At the same time, since these visions of hell, heaven, divine beings, bright lights or “things” are “seen” sans a fully conscious awakened state of rationality, only susceptible, supercilious or superstitious mentalities believe in their “solid” reality.

 

However, such “visions’ are a mundane “happening” in meditation. Yogis and mystics of India, ancient to present, experience them. It’s no big thing.

The “ I ” of Awakening - Getting IT - Beyond SCIENCE!

Seemingly, science is god today.

 

It has done away with many a devil of the past. The Big Bang and Evolutionary Theory satiate many. This has led many “know-it-alls” to presume and postulate that we are but soulless, randomly assembled chemical particles, now moving as living beings. And, are nothing more than a “chance” offspring of one “big-banging” universe. We are just a “thing”; worth nothing. In short, we without cause, come; sans effect, are gone.

 

However, owing to advanced scientific knowledge, except for people of Judeo-Christian and Islamic belief systems, no educated person worth his brains minds much that the earth is just not 5-6 thousand years old. Science had added some billions of years to our birth date and place. Yet, it would be false crediting science with this discovery; when, in fact, spirituality, did so much before any Darwin-Dawkins or Higgs-Hawkins set foot on this earth. Ancient Indian texts, such as the Upanishads and Vedanta treatises, inform us that this universe is as old as eternity itself.

 

Hence, n India, even the big bang is a hang.

 

In higher mystical traditions, this “seen” world is held to be the visible “solidification” of “Shakti”, Cosmic Energy. Yet, it’s all “Maya”: Transient ILLUSORY Phenomena. It keeps “big-banging’, arising and vanishing, unto “That” Which Is. Ad Infinitum. We are as old as THAT.

 

This is the ‘Single Eye” of Self-Realization.

 

Mystics “know”, attain this Eternal Wisdom after self-experimentation, in the deepest realm of “Awakened” Consciousness; of which philosophers, psychologists, and psychiatrics do seem to have some inkling, from time to time.  On the other hand, Yogis, ancient and present, swim in this mystic rhythm like a well-versed note. “Who we are”, in “That” WHICH IS: getting “IT” is the aim and objective of these “Spiritual Scientists”.

 

As these insatiable seekers delve deeper unto the darkest depths of “What Is”, the web of acquired belief systems gives way to new realities. The “little” visions - deities, gods, messiahs, demons, fairies, angels, hell, heaven et cetera - of our inculcated, ingrained, inherited isms are “overcome” by Actualization of The Unlimited.

 

Without an “edible” physicality, a metaphysical seeker or a physicist remains a skeptic. Some religions do not take well to agnosticism and atheism. Such “trivialities” irk none in India. No Indian guru lambasts science or scientists.

 

Seeking in Maya (Make Believe), “this” visible world, we merely “see” The Outside. Not “baptized” unto Tao of What Is - “Kingdom of God is Within” - the best too lose “It”, like the rest.

 

The Answer does not lie on moon or mars.

 

Who seek “there” miss the muse “here”. Our Quintessence - call it Soul, God Particle, Root of Existence - is never separate from All That Is.

 

The Part is The Whole.

 

This Universe, each “black hole” and every “dark matter”, is one “stuff”. Duality seen as you-me-him-her or this-that-here-there is but “surface” reading The Source.

 

The “stuff” of our life and existence is Changeless. Infinite Big Bangs are born, die every moment. So does evolution. They come, go.  Changes in The Changeless do not a Change make.

 

The Whole remains Whole.

 

The Visible World is ever “One” with its “Invisible” Common Original Source. Nothing is separate from anything else. The Self consorts with Own Self. “Here” now, “there” next. As fire in wood, all is unto The Self.

 

Yet, the only advantage mystics have over others is that through trial and error, ecstasy and terror, these seekers of “What Is”, came to “know” The WAY a bit before the rest.  Presto, Sids got it before Christo! It means zilch. It is just an historical fact that Siddhartha-Buddha came before Christ; hence, got “It” first.

 

At any time, the Ultimate Truth must remain An Eternal Constant.

 

It does. Mystically, “I am in my Father, my Father is in me,” and “I and my Father are One” simply means All is Unto Each Other. As One Quintessential Primordial Self. Or, simply, “All is One”. Could “God” be clearer than this?

 

Science is getting “There”.

 

The “life” composition of everything, living or seemingly non-living, anywhere in this manifest universe, is one. The Un-manifested too holds true thus. This perception of Unity of All, now, is dawning on us all.

 

We are “One” every which way.

 

Thus, a “Knowing One” would abide by “Love thy neighbor as thyself”; not because it is godly true but because, oddly, it is the truth.

 

Who cares if this “I” of Awakening comes from science or spirituality!

Are WE "Lower" ANIMALS?

"Man is the Reasoning Animal.

Such is the claim. I think it is open to dispute.

Indeed, my experiments have proven to me that he is the Unreasoning Animal... In truth, man is incurably foolish. Simple things which other animals easily learn, he is incapable of learning. Among my experiments was this.

In an hour I taught a cat and a dog to be friends.

I put them in a cage.

In another hour I taught them to be friends with a rabbit. In the course of two days I was able to add a fox, a goose, a squirrel and some doves. Finally a monkey.

They lived together in peace; even affectionately.
Next, in another cage I confined an Irish Catholic from Tipperary, and as soon as he seemed tame I added a Scotch Presbyterian from Aberdeen. Next a Turk from Constantinople; a Greek Christian from Crete; an Armenian; a Methodist from the wilds of Arkansas; a Buddhist from China; a Brahman from Benares. Finally, a Salvation Army Colonel from Wapping.

Then I stayed away for two whole days.

When I came back to note results, the cage of Higher Animals was all right, but in the other there was but a chaos of gory odds and ends of turbans and fezzes and plaids and bones and flesh.. not a specimen left alive.

These Reasoning Animals had disagreed on a theological detail..

IS there NO NEED for a GURU or a PATH?

THIS No GURU & No PATH, which, now days, everyone seems to harp about is not that simple an issue.

When we are barely able to learn ABC etc. without a teacher, that is, if SIMPLE Knowledge is not easy to attain without someone to guide us; surely, such a complex issue as ENLIGHTENMENT merits a GURU.

We must not foolishly fall into such a clichéd “Cool” Pool.

In fact, we must resist, consciously so, from becoming an easy prey to this “learned” propaganda of shirking a Spiritual Preceptor (Guru).

The RIGHT PATH must be sought, and, chosen. The “NO Path” quote is cool to quote; not so easy to follow. Frankly, it does not work.

At The FINAL Stage, yes, WHAT "happens" THERE, is The GRACE of "That" WHICH IS. There is no “this” or “that” Human or Angelic figures “over’ THERE; to take The SEEKER anywhere: HELL or HEAVEN, THIS or THAT.

No such things, places, or beings exist therein. Get it.

WHEN Advanced Masters speak of “No Guru” and “No Path”, they do so after having attended the “feet’ of an HOLY ONE. That is, after remaining so at the humble point of “nothingness” - of No EGO: as a lowly learner, a student or “shishya” of ALL Paths; as if walking “No Path”.

This Path of Path-less Divinity is, actually, that of utter humility.

But, FIRST One has to "get" THAT. Then, one does not make such SIMPLISTIC Assertions. The EGO says: "No Guru". The Spirit: WAHE (Hail!) GURU. Our egotistical, “Inherited”, MIND says: “No Path”.

The “Enlightened One” FOLLOWS The PATH.

Of NO-THING-NESS: where no theories or theologies remain, no this-that contained, and, is no “Chosen” ones’ domain.

“Get” IT. Or, LOSE “It”.

There is.Of course, it is not a Personal God, a human-like "form" of ANY of our forefathers' religions or books of faith. Yet, IT is not “Nothing” either.

Our Mind, however much we deny it, cannot remain unaffected by the inadvertent influence of this-that, Eastern-Western "inherited" ISMS.

The Baghwad Gita, one of the most revered Hindu scriptures, calls our mind a 'monkey". It is that restless. Hence, meditation.

Better it is to CONTEMPLATE on “WHAT IS”.

This rules out any assumptions our mind makes about The Ultimate Reality. It also keeps us humble. In check. And, a Seeker. Not a pompous “Master”-in-Waiting. Our “monkey” MIND must be MASTERED. And not master Us.

In fact, everyone must ask him-herself “KO-HUM”- Who Am I? And, it is told in Higher Mystical Scriptures of India: IF one seeks thus in all humility, faithfully following Yogic (Divine Umity) Instructions of one’s Guru, The ANSWER comes. In Self-Realization. As “SO-HUM” - That I Am. AS is “That”, so I AM.

Or, “I” am THAT “ i “: AM.

Is GOD a PERSON?

No one, in "know" of Higher Spiritual Texts (Upanishads etc.) of India, believes in "God as a Person". It is a Simpleton's Way of looking at The Infinite.

Worship of "forms" or rituals thereof, were permitted in some mystical circles in ancient times (in India) to take The Seeker from "lesser" to Higher Knowledge of The Ultimate. Sadly, most people get stuck in this lower form of Worship and Understanding of "That" WHICH IS.

This is the case in most religions. Sans exception.

Thus, such "lower worship", of forms OR Gods in "LIKENESS" of a person, is not encouraged in Advanced Mystical Orders.

AND "That" - The Ultimate Reality, God etc. - Truth of WHICH IS, is no "energy" either. Cosmic Energy or "Shakti" is but "Maya" (ILLUSION) of WHAT IS.

ACCORDING to Science, An ATOM is 99.99% Space. Just .01% is "Matter" (Energy we "see" as "form"). THIS Visible Shakti-Energy originates from "something". Call IT God, Nothingness or "That": WHICH IS.

THIS "Ground of All Things That Be", should be a Seeker's Aim and Objective.

The Yogis and Free Mystics of India, THEN and NOW, Seek THUS.

And FIND "All" to be One Infinite Oneness.

No gods or messiahs stand "There".

Is it Time for YOGA to GROW UP?

It is time for us to “grow up” TO Yoga. Not the other way around.

Now days, Yoga has become a “fast-food” of the West. BUT as the joke goes here, “There’s a Yoga Guru sitting upon every other brick.” “And one under it.”

Under-trained, ignorant Yoga Teachers abound in America, as here, in the birthplace of Yoga. Being a Private Practitioner myself (i.e. I do not teach) since the past 3 decades, then some; I have observed that injuries during any type of exercise, games etc. & in yoga occur owing to One Reason: LACK of Proper WARM-UP. Simple.

One must not get into sudden “jerking” motions at the beginning of any exercise. There is a techinque of getting into “asnas”. One has to “warm up” by “simple” postures before “taking on” Complicated Asnas. Yoga Routinue cannot be rushed into. In India, one never hear of “yoga” injuries.

ALSO, sex is not the reason one gets into Yoga. At least not in India. Of course, “Tantra” is another matter. Mostly, the “lesser” lot of Spiritual Seekers indulge in it.

Physical postures are just the beginning. Hence, are merely called “Yoga Asnas”. REAL Yoga begins thereafter. In Sanskrit, Yoga means “To Yoke”. TO JOIN with “That” WHICH IS. Ultimate Reality, Eternal Truth, Alpha & Omega. God, if you like. Is YOGA.

We, ourselves, have to mature, ripen, age and “grow” INTO Yoga.

Yoga is too old. And, frankly, a bit too ancient to GROW UP.

Are WE but APES with hidden tails & without a SOUL?

Not at all.

This is not what Yogis & Free Mystics of India found eons ago. As they do today.

The Truth does not change with time. IT is what It Is.

Long before Darwin, much before any ism, including Hindu-ism, found itself popularly established, Yogis & Free Mystics sought “That” WHICH IS. Sans this or that religious belief. Their Aim & Objective was then, as is now, The Ultimate Truth: What-So-Ever IT may be. Above and Beyond any Seeker’s personal belief system, inherited or inscribed.

So, what do The Yogis & Free Mystics of India find?

After going through the requisite meditative & spiritual practices - as prescribed by their respective Guru, of this or that ilk and inclination - the Seeker so blessed by his Karmic Due, LITERALLY “sees” his-her “life-form” separating from her-his bodily-form. He-she, being advanced in Yoga by this time, realizes that he-she is more than the body. Is not The Body. But more.

THIS “baptized” being, after passing through innumerable mystical visions, “astral travel” etc, finds - at The End - one’s own self to be neither “this” nor “that” being or entity, but merely An Observer OF & A “Witness” TO All That Is “Happening”. It is almost as clear, if not more, as is Experimentation to A Clinical Scientist in a Laboratory. It is no  imagined “vision” or hallucination as such.

Thereafter, THIS Observer-Witness to The HAPPENING, “sees” - again, literally - The Observing-Witnessing Self “dissolve” as if, unto ALL THAT IS. Thus, “becoming” WHAT “It” IS. That is - ALL “That” Is. The “Seeing”-Self observes-witnesses its “self” as The SELF of ALL. As “Aham Sarvum”: as “I AM ALL (That Is).” In a nutshell, as The Universal Self.

This Universal Oneness and “Self”-ness is Our Soul-Self. So to say.

This "Life" is without a tail. No Darwin knows or affixes IT. With a tale only Yogis & Free Mystics tell.

Yet, "KNOWING" thus  is The Birthright of All.

WHAT is Emptiness - SHUNYA - Nothingness of BUDDHA?

NOTHINGNES­S or “Shunya” of BUDDHA is No ZERO.

IT is The Primordial End State from which The Beginning of “Sva” or “i” or Self-Aware­ness is born.

For 1 to be comprehend­ed as a pysicality­, there has to be Less Than One. Less than 1 is Zero or “Nothing” - i.e. SHUNYA. Putting it simply, IT is The No-Thing from which All Derivative­s originate. Thus, Zero or Shunya is The “VIRGIN” Womb that is The “Father”-“­Mother”, so to say, GOD of “That” WHICH IS. Is The Alpha and Omega of ALL That IS. Hidden or Manifest. Born or Unborn. Seen or Unseen. THAT WHICH is “this” and “that”, which, The Human Brain perceives as Creation “here” or “there”.

So, how does The “Knowing One” or Buddha experience “Shunyta” or Nothingnes­s?

As The BEGINNING of SELF.

 

The “Witnessin­g” BEING, as a “Physicali­ty”, in Observable Self-Exper­ience, “sees” The Being-ness becoming “shunya”. That is, The “more” falls, as if, into The Womb of THAT WHICH is The Ultimate “Less”. And, in THIS “Knowing” finds “That” WHICH IS. The SELF of Nothingnes­s. And, Everything­ness. 

From which ALL “That” is... IS.

This is The “i” of SHUNYA.

The Enlightene­d One, thereafter­, after ALL is “done” & “undone”, observes THIS Ultimate “i” of IT - Shunayta - “RE-BORN” as The SELF of The BUDDHA.

IT is a Physical Self-Exper­ience. Rest is Theory. Is RELIGION. Is our Science, Engineerin­g or Maths.

Is “this” or “that”. Is Less Than “Shunya”.

Is Less Than WHAT IS.

What is Our "Lost" 4th State of Consciousness?

Our Three States of Awareness are Sleeping, Wakefullne­s and Dreaming.

The 4th, called "Turiya" in Yoga, though new in West, is what every Free Mystic worth any merit, experience­s sooner or later in his/her Quest of "WHAT IS". Yet, it is Not Just Simple Meditation­.

It is a rare occurance. It is No Fancy that can be experience­d "twice a day".

Once in a life time would suffice.

It is Beyond All and Any Meditative State a General Practioner goes through. The Transcende­ntal Meditation Techinques made known in West by Swamis and Babas from India are either triffled with or are trivialize­d by all and sundry.

It is a Stateless State.

It is not an intellectu­al experiment­ation or a health exercise. Feeling Peace, Tranquilit­y etc. is not IT.

So, what exactly is "Turyia": The Fourth State?

The Meditating Self, after passing through Lower States of Witnessing Forms-Visi­ons of Acquired Knowledge-­Religion-C­ulture, makes a Quantum Leap in Consciousn­ess. By The Grace of The Divine. Or, “That” WHICH IS.

Thence, The “Observing­” Self “sees” ALL THAT IS as its Own SELF.

It is Physical Experience­. Not An Emotional or An Intellectu­al Realizatio­n.

Herein, The Being finds its SELF.

Thereafter­, The “Life” returns to The Being.

As Consciousn­ess, Energy, Breath and Body-Form. In this order.

This State of “Knowing” WHAT IS, is The Fourth State.

It is The Natural State of a Master.

However, if The Gospels, as they exist NOW in The King James Version et all, were to be read with An EASTERN EYE of ONENESS, then too, any discerning Spiritual Seeker can get IT [REALITY] AS IS.

Jesus was an Eastern Man. So was his Understanding of Metaphysics.

There is no Eastern or Western Truth.

No Bridge needs be built between Science and Spirituality.

Both, after all is said and done, are ONE in UNDERSTANDING. 

Reality is ONE.

IT must be so understood. And, thus lived.

Albert Einstein and the Scientific Proof of 'God'

GOD is not E=MC2.

However, it is an inkling of, and, hinting at WHAT IS.

Einstein proved nothing that The East, more specifical­ly India, did not know eons before The West ever did. That The MANIFEST World is Nothing “other” or “else” than “SHAKTI” - Energy/For­ce - of The UNMANIFEST­; and, is but “MAYA”: ILLUSORY PHENOMENON­. Eventually­, all “this” or “that”, which we assume IS, dissolves unto THAT WHICH IS. Call IT whatever: Father-Vir­gin Mother-Sha­kti-Shiva-­GOD. Yet, NAMELESS is IT.

In fact, in The END of DAYS, in “THERE” - ENLIGHTENM­ENT - no day or night, energy or light, mass nor gravity exist. No formula, fancy or fact as known HEREIN holds sway THEREIN.

The Yogis and Free Mystics of Ancient India found NO RELIGION.

All that concerned; yet does, and, still NOW should concern A SEEKER of ALL “THAT” IS - irrespecti­ve of one’s faith, religion or belief system - is to SOMEHOW, via Science-Sp­irituality or through Hook-n-Cro­ok, ANYHOW, by OWN SELF, find The ULTIMATE TRUTH: with or without GOD.

Only Limited Minds imagine God to be in their own “human” form-image­. Yet, “HE” is not some E=MC2 either. “THAT”, which is “THERE”, is Father-SOU­RCE-Mother of WHAT IS.

“IT” is “ALL”-MIGH­TY-NESS. Unto ALL, as ALLNESS; is EVERYTHING­. What one ever need know is that “KINGDOM of GOD is WITHIN You!”

Science seeks it. Spirit finds IT.

The Purpose of The Universe

Before fixing Purpose, perhaps we need ask: What is The Universe?

What is it's Composition? Where does it come from? Does it evolve out of “Nothing” or “Nothingness” as some Scientists and Skeptics suggest? Is it mere matter? Who made it? Or, is it just AN ILLUSION?

How can we find WHAT and WHY of The Universe?

Answer: By SELF-REALIZATION.

That is, by REALIZING The “SELF”.

All of us are “blessed”, with The Genome of “THAT” which is The Self of “ALL THAT IS”. Hence, we are equally, identically and genetically programmed by “That” - The Divine - to seek and find The Purpose of The Universe.

Yet, nary, except The “CHOSEN”, find “IT”.

In The BUDDHA­­/KNOWING “Self” EXPERIENCE, as computer finds its code, our IN-BUILT “Divine” Programming finds The UNIVERSAL CODE of Our “Self”.

After Un-Ending Mystical experiences - too many to elaborate here - The “Blessed Being” is “led”, by The Hidden Hand, to “REVELATION” of The Self. The Meditating “SINGLE EYE” Self “sees” - LITERALLY - The Whole Universe AS one’s OWN SELF. There is no distinction of “this” from “that” in “THERE”. The ILLUSION of OUR SELF as SEPARATE from ALL THAT IS shatters. Revealing, ALL is ONE SELF. This is what YOGIS, SUFIS and FREE-MYSTICS seek and find.

One day, so may Science.

Hence, The Purpose of Our LIFE and The UNIVERSE is to know “WE ARE IT”.

Thereafter, we need “live” IT. Simply put, A SPIRITUAL LIFE.

Happily: EVER-AFTER.

The Mystical Experience: A Question of What's Beyond

Who is A Mystic?

Who seeks End and Answer to The Eternal Mystery. And, Truth, above all.

Whatsoever “IT” may be.

It is The Only “Religion” of Free Mystics.

It’s all that need concern any seeker, spiritualist or scientist. Hence, were a mystic to find some hell, heaven, messiah, angel, god, goddess - after initial/in­termediate mystical “happenings” - as The End Experience; then, that is what he/she shall state boldly, bravely, bare-knuckled.

Yet, this is not what The Happening is in The Final “Knowing”.

However, it would be wrong to say “IT” happens to any voyeuristic, pedantic individual. Mysticism is not The Realm of fools or philosophers but of pious, true seekers.

One’s “inherited” religion has got nothing to do with That Which Is.

But one has to, at the least, be aware and sensitive enough to realize that one must “respect” LIFE for “IT” to, in turn, “honor” the devotee. Which entails that one be A Vegetarian. Non-Vegetarianism is Bad Karma. Rest happens as is one’s Karma.

“That” Which Is has no favorites.

Whose Karma is, gets “IT”.

Yet, no New Truth EVER dawns.

What does is, one finds by one’s Own Self that “One” is The Primordial “Substance” of ALL LIFE. And, that everything and everyone is but ONE and OWN SELF in QUINTESSENCE.

“Happenings” along The Way are innumerable. Yet, in The End is UNITY.

It’s all very scientific, spiritual and surreal.

This is The TRUTH/GOD of FREE MYSTICS.

There’s nothing BEYOND “IT”.

What's Real About the Rapture?

What is The Rapture?

It is The Seeker’s Metaphysical Ascension unto The Realm of Spirit.

The “life” of one’s being, soul/spirit is “ruptured”-“lifted up”-“captured” in Spirit and in Truth, and, “taken” to Realization of The Universal Self.

Ancients in India called it “Vismad” or Wondrous Divine Ecstasy.

It is no “eureka” vision of some “chosen” belief.

Westerners thinking or believing otherwise, do so in ignorance.

This “Divine Rapture” is a commonality; “mundane” terminology, used by Free Mystics/Yogis/Sufis for The Higher Supra-Normal “Happening” in The Metaphysical Realm.

Herein, Spiritual Seeker/Manifested Being/Bodily Human-Form, in Divine Intoxication/Meditative Transcendental Worship, gets “transported”, “rises up” to “meet” The SELF of THAT WHICH IS.

What else happens in The Rapture?

No this-that Messiah or God comes with trumpets and angels!

The Vision of one’s Guru or Authoritative Holy Image of one’s faith is commonly “seen” by mystics of every kith, kin and kind. This virtual but mystical “self-experience” of “lift”-“rise”-“capture” of one’s Self/Consciousness unto “The Seventh Heaven” - Kingdom of God - overwhelms “Baptized”/Initiated Yogi.

Mortified, uninitiated, un-baptized call it “abduction” by aliens!

Visions of innumerable permutations-combinations come-go; until, in The Rapture, Self-Realization dawns. Thence, “I and my Father are One” - a la Jesus, Sufis, Yogis and Free Mystics - is The “Buddha”/Knowing/Awakening.

The End and The Beginning is discovered as One Whole Oneness.

This is What is Real About The Rapture.

WHO/WHAT IS GOD?

Who/What is God?

"He" is neither Mother nor Father.

This imposition of "personality" over That Which Is as He-She-Creator is the undoing of “blind” bookish lot; yet devoid of The Buddha Happening.

In The Ultimate Reality no human-form, anthropomorphic god exists.

Only faiths of lower spiritual understanding believe in it. This illusory phenomenon dissolves once pre-conditioning of our mind is “overcome” during Mystical/Yogic “Self” Realization.

The Knowing, Buddha/Christ-Hood, is A Universal Experience in Mysticism.

Zillions of “happenings" occur during “Shishya”, Learning Phase in a Seeker’s life. Yet, in The End, as Master, the Universal Truth that dawns upon The Chosen One is identical.

Truth is One.

No your-mine “chosen” belief is “There”!

As Spiritual Scientists, “worthy” devotees of The Divine, we all can “realize” The Ultimate Truth of The Universe. However, only the “hungry”/“thirsty” childlike reverent seekers get That Which Is as a “physical” experience.

Interim visions come-go, conditioned by our inherited/acquired faith or understanding. Yet, at the zenith, as Self-Realization, our Soul/Life Essence discovers its own “Holy” - Father/Mother/Creator - Primordial Self as ONE UNIFIED ONENESS OF ALL EXISTENCE.

All uncertainties, differences sine die. The Ultimate Truth therein is One.

The Self of our “ I “, “life” of our existence, finds it’s Quintessence. It is experienced as Unity; Oneness of All Existence.

This is God.

Yet, it is semantics.

Fools speak.

The Eternal Silence stays “zeroed in”: as Self of All That Is.

Stephen Hawking to God: Your Services Are No Longer Needed; God: You So Do Not Get Who I Am!

Is God dead?

Scientists, unable to find “Him”, as most think “God” is, make us but random dots in a spotless vacuum. As if there is no Divine Intelligence “guiding” The Universe.

So, is ours a God-less Universe?

Cosmologist Physicists are as mistaken as are the simple-minded religious lot believing otherwise. The Big Bang theory is as much a hypothesis as is a “Jealous God” in human form sitting in some illusory heaven up “there”.

Scientists like Stephen Hawkins propagate “total energy of the universe is exactly zero”. Meaning, energy creates its own self etc. Attributing no Intelligent Design behind it; and, hence, no Creator. All is random happening of nothingness.

The Universal Energy Total is Zero. Spirituality agrees with Science.

But it is a “Full” Zero!

Yogis/Free Mystics’ “Buddha” Zero - “Shunya” - is Empty yet Full.

The Universal Consciousness that science fails to “clinically” establish here is very much “There”. In and as The “Zero” of “That” Zorro we simpletons call God!

So, what happens “There”?

The Universal Energy/Force of Life - “Shakti - dissolves unto The Zero of The Immanent “Self”. The “thing” - Observer - becomes The Thing which is No Thing. Yet, is Every Thing. Is All That Is!

This Single Eye sees it’s “ I “ as One - The Self - of All “That” exists.

This Immanent Immortality exists As and In What-So-Ever Is.

Is God!

Arm-chair Scientists neither find “This” nor “That”.

Hence, remain zero in Spirituality.

The Problem with Hell

The Problem with Hell is it does not exist!

Neither does Heaven.

“Neither shall they say, lo here! Or lo there! For, behold, the KINGDOM OF GOD, is WITHIN YOU!” [ST. LUKE 17.21]

How much clearer could Jesus be?

Heaven or Hell is not some “physical” place.

Above-said Saying of The Master should put to rest every “devil” of doubt for Christians. Yet, it does not. Present and past followers of Jesus believe in supercilious, superstitious “scriptural” notions of “burning” in hell forever or “blissful” eternally in heaven.

“Sat-Guru”/True Teacher of Christians, nay, of the world, Jesus, “straightened out” myths of Bible.

His teachings are akin to Self-Realization of Yogis and Free Mystics of ancient India: provided The Master is “grasped” with The "Single Eye" of The East.

For Western minds fail to understand Christ.

The "demon" of lower Metaphysical Understanding of The Ultimate Reality stands exposed; "bare" in The YOGA OF JESUS.

That professors, theologians, scientists of Christian inheritance, like other Semitic religions and faiths elsewhere, believe in illusory “kingdom” somewhere “up there”, is both saddening and staggeringly strange to Higher Spiritual Systems of East.

Anyway, in nutshell, if Jesus is understood in a Yogic/Sufi/Free-Mystic Way; no demons of hell or heaven shall trouble Christians. Amen!

How to Find a Spiritual Teacher

Pick a brick, out comes a “guru”. And, another’s on top!

People joke.

However, since time immemorial, finding, then, learning at “Feet of The Master” is considered a sine qua non for attaining Enlightenment/Eternal Freedom/Nirvana in most Spiritual Traditions of East.

Lest we “bow” to some dubious Baba/Swami, Self-professed Avatar/Incarnation of God here or any Self-proclaimed Messiah/Mediator elsewhere; deep caution is advised.

Yet, it's destiny.

Belief in East is that this or that way, seeker finds one’s “karmic” guru. And, discovers The Way. In fact, a “Simple Simon”, possessing a child’s innocent heart, is assured of finding a “Bodh” Guru/Attained Master than is a cleverer, pedantic/bookish “Solomon”.

Were this precept of Jesus, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you”, taken in The Guru Tradition [not in some “Son of God’ context]; then, Guru/”Chela”-Teacher/Disciple query is addressed fully.

It's karma. As free mystics of East put it.

And, after all is said and done, Guru is The One who takes us from “Gu”/Darkness/Ignorance to “Ru”/Light/Knowledge. The Spiritual Teacher, like one’s parent, is there to guide the child; not stand in the way of latter’s destiny.

A worthy “son” gets one’s due “inheritance”: That Which Is.

“Neither shall they say, lo here! Or lo there! For, behold, the Kingdom of God is Within You.” [Luke 17.21]

True Guru is “Within”. As one’s own Inner Self.

So, don't worry, be happy!

Conscious Evolution and the Integration of Science and Spirituality

Conscientious “evolving” human beings are few and far in-between.

The awareness that out of “No Thing at All” has evolved Everything that was, is and will be is fantastic. Yet, fallacious.

The “No-Thing” implies “nothing”.

It is untrue.

The "Father" & The "Creator" of “everything” is neither “a thing” nor “no thing”. And, certainly is not “no thing at all”. It is “something” beyond simple, simplistic definitions.

We need “evolve” from Simple Simon to Spiritual Solomon.

It requires, conscientiously, getting rid of “Simple Simon”. This demands, we neither over simplify nor overtly “sci-fi” That Which Is.

Afore said “No Thing At All” is not some “zero” of Science.

Evolutionary Theory or “Big Bang” Hypothesis etc. has relevance in this “earthly” realm. This “illusion” does not exist “There”. At “The” End.

So, what is “IT” that can bring “Conscious Evolution”: The Integration of Science & Spirituality?

It is, consciously, “attaining” Buddha-hood/Knowing that Science & Spirituality are siblings. One can be used to “seek” and “find” the other. There is no rivalry betwixt them. As they “evolve” in stature and “Nature”, both could “get” The Answer.

It is simple.

From “Self” arises “non-self”. Once “illusion” of manifestation ends; the non-self “settles” unto The Self. As if “it” never was. Therein, “It” remains: as “Self” of All That Is. Until “karma” decides it is time to “manifest” again.

This “Evolution” is Never Ending.

Yet, is “no thing”, “nothing” and “no thing at all”.

Is All in One.

Who Says All Religions Are the Same?

Are all religions the same?

Of course, they are not. To “herd” them together as one “flock”, is not only naïve but nonsensical. Atheists and neo-pacifists, either lampoon or “Lama”-spoon religion to “feed” their own vested interests. Both are equally mistaken or mischievous.

Free Mystics and Yogis of India, eons ago, declared “TRUTH is ONE; but wise call IT by many names.” They meant it differently. Most thinkers miss the nuance. Aldous Huxley, with his “Perennial Philosophy”; taking “out” the “juice” of all religions and “drinking” the same, probably came nearer to understanding, though not “experiencing”, WHAT IS.

Abrahamic religions believe in a personal god, but “their” one! India has millions of gods/goddesses. People elsewhere, around the world, hold their beliefs dear. Meat-eating “Lama” culture has “swallowed” Buddhist doctrine. In this “holier-than-thou” neo-world culture, no wonder atheists and jihadists are having a field day.

So, how are all religions the same?

They are, in the sense, that after all is said and done, the “worthy” - CHOSEN ONE - amongst us, rises “above” all limitations and “overcomes” this-that “fancied” ism of one’s inheritance or choosing. One is “AWAKENED” in Pure Immanent Consciousness.

“Here” no religion abounds. No messiahs stand. No angels “reveal” No “god” speaks!

At THE END, the “REALITY” of “EXISTENCE” is experienced as "ONENESS". "ALL IS ONE” is no theory “here”. It s ONE TRUTH “There”!

In this sense, all religions are same.

Otherwise, they are cats and dogs!

Sufism & Islamic/Muslim Belief

Is Sufism Islam?

Islamic Apologetics would like us to believe so.

However, both “belief” systems are as chalk and cheese. Nothing is common betwixt them. Except rancor and rumor.

Islam holds GOD is absolutely “OTHER”. In Sufism there is “NO OTHER”. The “Core of Sufism” is NOT “To Strive for Nearness to God” but “ONENESS with GOD”. Quran postulates death for those who, like Jesus, proclaim “I and MY FATHER are ONE!” [St John 10.30] Sufis do.

Quranic Verse (50:16), of God being “closer to you than your jugular vein”, is often cited as “living” proof of Identical Teachings of Mohammedans and Sufis. Said Bulle Shah: “Wiped Off is Ink on Kalma!” [The 1st Confirmatory Verse of Quran/Mohammed being Allah’s Prophet].

Be it Rumi or Shamas Tabriz; by Strict Interpretation of Quran, Sufi’s “faith” is “Kufr”/Un-Truth. Such mystics, “Kafir.” Mansoor Al-Hallaj was cut to bits for proclaiming “An Al Haq” [I am The Truth] - as per Sufi’s SELF-REALIZATION of ULTIMATE REALITY, of ONENESS with “THAT” Which Is: God!

This is Apostasy in Mohammedan Belief.

Islam believes in a “man-like” anthropomorphic god. This is not The “Buddha” Experience of Sufis. Such “Duality” is annihilated - “overcome” - in DIVINE UNITY.

Much as humankind wishes for peace with Islam; it cannot come unless we all realize, as Sufis do, that “ALL IS ONE”. To “filter down” Sufism and “doctor” it to Islamic Belief does not cut it.

Sufism is not Islam.

Darwinism & The Moral Argument for God

Conflict between Science and Religion is illusory.

However, many Western “thinkers” make this non-issue an issue.

These arm-chair philosophers, spitting fire and brimstone on “religion”, singing odes to Darwin; remain blissfully ignorant of The “Illusion” Einstein referred to. An “inkling” of it had this great scientist all agog.

If books could give us The Truth, every cockroach ever to crawl over them would get it. ‘Philo’ is love, ‘Sophy’ Knowledge. Philosophy is “Love for Knowledge”. It entails a thinking person Seek and Find WHAT IS. But, for that, is "mind", as we "think" is, enough?

What happens “beyond” our mind?

All, as we imagine it is, "stands" on its head!

Evolution etc. is "observable phenomena" in the "illusion" of Time. It is "limited" in its scope. Einstein "got" it that time/space is “illusory”. Yet, being "persistent", it manifests as a consistent fact. Incidentally, this "observable" world, as "seen" by us, is referred to as "Maya" in all spiritual traditions of India. It means ILLUSION.

Thus, within this “manifest” context - time/space of present day "observable phenomena" - Indian Yogis and Free Mystics give science its due respect. This includes The Evolutionary Theory of Darwin.

Yet, religion means “re-join”. With “That”, Which Is.

Said Mansoor Al-Hallaj - "To comprehend The Unlimited is not the range or quality of that, which is limited." This Sufi Saint was cut to bits by fanatics in 10th century A.D.

Some “thinkers” of West commit this “hara-kiri”.

With Truth.

Can We Depend Upon Our MIND?

Science tends to equate “mind” with our “brain”. It is fallacious. There is “something” that “runs” our brain and mind. What is “it”? It is “life”. But what is the “stuff” this “life” is made of? The Answer eludes Science.

Darwin, Einstein, Newton etc. were, “mind-wise”, admittedly, more intelligent than most of us. Evolutionary or Atomic Theory may be called “observable phenomena” in a limited context. The Unlimited or The Timeless is beyond this “illusion” of time and space. Einstein honored this “inkling” of The Ultimate Reality. In this context, he was deeply “spiritual”.

In East, India specifically, science never is in conflict with spirituality. Why? Because the Yogis and Free Mystics, independent of any tight “religious” beliefs, depend entirely upon “observable phenomena” to seek and find WHAT IS. The scientific community as well as a lay man must grasp these “findings” to “get” The Truth.

So, what did then, as do now, Yogis and Free Mystics find?

After life-long perseverance, it is found by these “Spiritual Scientists” that The “Mind” of our “mind” can be reached! This UNIVERSAL MIND or GOD (of the simple-minded amongst us), is The QUINTESSENCE or “LIFE” of our “SELF”. This “HAPPENING” is bestowed upon The “CHOSEN” Devotee as “MERCY” or “GRACE” of THE DIVINE. Enlightenment can “happen” to anybody. Yet, it may never occur. Thus, one has to be “religious” in this “faith” that “within” us is “KINGDOM OF GOD”. 

The drop does “meet” The Ocean!

Albert Einstein's Faith: Was the Great Physicist Spiritual?

An Open Heart with An Open Mind gets The Open Secret.

In this sense, Einstein was deeply "religious"; a discerning "spiritual" being. But averse to the idea of a "personal god". And, rightly so. His 'expansive spirit' was 'relentlessly curious'. Open to "Time-less" and "Eternal" Structure of The Ultimate Reality.

This is The Way of Yogis and Free Mystics of India.

The "view" of GOD as a "person", is a "lower" belief. Yet, this "lesser" idea of “TRUTH” exists as a tangible "reality" in East and West alike. Millions believe and die with it. None the wiser.

It is not The Way of A Free 'Spirit'. Of intelligent people.

Seek and Find. Is The Name of The Game. Of Mysticism.

Yet, much as one may respect "intelligent" minds, such as that of Einstein; to "get" THE TIMELESS REALITY, beyond "stubbornly persistent ILLUSION”, the MIND as we know it, must be transcended. Why? Because "stuff" that "mind" is made of is not "brain" but SPIRIT. 

Our mind may "perceive" or "conceive" A SENSE OF REALITY. But most of us never get "IT" as a virtual "SELF"-Experience. Failing to “get” IT, a visible section of human society becomes atheist; anti-religion. Then, ANTI-GOD.

Both "Believers" and "Infidel" Non-Believers worship an "ISM".

A "scientific" mind should not "believe" or disbelieve "blindly" any truisms. Einstein did not. Was OEPEN-HEARTED and OPEN-MINDED to WHAT IS. Thus, was more "spiritual" than most of us ever are. Or, shall ever be!

What is Buddhism?

Simply, sans semantics, "Buddhi" means "intelligence". Metaphysically, one established in INTELLIGENT AWARENESS of WHAT IS, can be called a BUDDHA.

AHIMSA or NON-VIOLENCE, in India, where Buddhism originated, means, "Non-Killing" of ANY, not just "human" LIFE.

Why is it prohibited to take "life"?

This injunction in HIGHER SPIRITUAL WAY(s) of India is inviolable. Unlike Semitic religions or other "paths" elsewhere, taking of "life" of animals, specifically for "food", is a strict no-no here. Excuses “forwarded” by so-called Buddhists for partaking meat are of "LAMA" kind. Of an "alien culture". It is an “outsider” ethos.

Admittedly, a chunk of "less evolved" Indian Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists too take meat. They are in millions. The majority or popular "belief" is, more often than not, of a lower kind. That is why it has more followers. A "higher kind" of Seeker, from anywhere in the world, is no “easy” sheep that can be "herded" to take "feed" with the common flock.

Thus, it may rightly be said that "we are all either moving towards Correct Understanding [Enlightenment] or away from 'That' place of Understanding."

And, pray, what is "this" RIGHT UNDERSTANDING?

It is that ALL is ONE. It is LIFE. And, this “life substratum” is ONE.

This is ENLIGHTENMENT of a BUDDHA.

As in THE END, in SELF-REALIZATION, it is "found" that ALL IS ONE "LIFE", the sages and seers of India prohibit MEAT-EATING. 

As did BUDDHA.

Hence, who eats meat, is no Buddhist.

Buddhism and Vegetarianism: Would Sid Eat Meat?

“I undertake a vow to abstain from taking life.”

Buddha thus laid down The First Precept of his faith.

What doubt does it leave in any intelligent person’s mind about Meat-Eating? Any excuse to the contrary is willful, wishful waywardness. If, reportedly, Dalai Lama continues to eat meat, then, he, very much like other “lesser mortals”, strays from The Basic Foundation and The First Precept of Buddhism. 

So, how did meat-eating creep into Buddhism?

It happened when Buddhism spread outside India. The regions, countries it took root, had an age-old non-vegetarian culture. Be it Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Burma, Korea, Tibet. And, now, it is the West.

All these “alien”, Non-Indian, cultures were also very violent and volatile. “Taking Life” was The Way here. Much pride was taken in one’s ability, readiness for settling scores. An Eye for An Eye prevailed. It still does.

Lastly, in these civilizations, spirits/devil/demons/deities etc. were a part and parcel of everyday “reality”. Hence, REALITY AS IS, or, the Realization that SELF is ONE, remained then, as does it now, missing. View of WHAT IS, as DUALITY not UNITY, prevails now, as it did then. Thus, there was, yet is not, respect for “other” life or soul. Be it so-called “higher life” (man). Or, “lower life” (animal).

Siddhartha, “Sid”, Buddha led a Non-Violent life. The Master preached ‘Ahimsa’. His teachings are distorted. Taking “life” is against Buddhism.

Who eats meat, is no Buddhist.

Do All Dogs Go To Heaven?

Fact is “Western Culture is based on Christian Theology.”

Were it not, question of animals having a ‘soul’ or not, would not arise. Ancient texts of India advocate that animals, from ant to elephant, all have a ‘soul’ like any human being. The Semitic Culture does not think so.

The West as also most of world, has a meat-eating/non-vegetarian culture. Why? Because people, whatever their religion, believe animals do not have a ‘soul’ like them. And, thus, think “little” or nothing of breaking the latter’s bones or beating their brains to a pulp. Thereafter, eating these hapless souls to their hearts content, the same “peace-loving”, “god-fearing” fellows seek “humane” treatment of animals!

In Reality, the “Beginning and End of Everything” (Simple Simon’s God) as found by Yogis and Free Mystics of India in “Self-Experience” is that Universe is “made” of ONENESS. This “ONE” “stuff” of “life” is THE SAME and ONE “here” or “there”. That is, whatever exists, latent or seen, of past-present-future, is in “UNITY”. Thus, in “duality” we see “other”. In The Realm of Ultimate Reality, no “otherness” exists. The Universal Quintessence is ONE.

Hence, those that do not “get” the TRUE NATURE of SELF; for them, dogs, like all other animals, are bereft of a “soul”. It is untrue. A lie believed in by the less mystically “evolved”.

In fact, most of us, the human race, are “dogs” that go to “hell”.

But ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN!
